The best electronic waste is the device that never becomes waste.
Most retired electronics still have useful life left. Reuse, done properly, beats recycling as an outcome whenever it's genuinely possible — that's the idea Orbitico is built on.

We're a small, Ontario-based operation built on one idea: before a device gets recycled, someone should seriously ask whether it can be reused instead. Recycling breaks a device down, while reuse keeps the value — and the materials and energy already invested in it — in circulation.
That's the order we follow: reuse first, refurbish where reuse isn't immediately possible, donate what fits a community need, recover parts, and recycle only what genuinely can't go any other way.
We're not a scrapyard, and we're not a landfill-diversion depot with a green logo bolted on. We're a technology-focused business with an environmental mission built into how it operates.
Realistic about where we are.
Ship-first intake
No public warehouse or storefront — approved devices travel to us by prepaid UPS shipping label, at no cost to the donor.
Small by design, for now
Built to scale carefully — we'd rather do a good job at a manageable scale than overpromise before we're ready.
Honest reporting
We don't publish numbers we can't back up. Our impact page starts at zero and grows only as real devices are processed.
Where this is headed
We're building toward a full circular-economy operation: donation intake, shipping, refurbishment, business recovery at scale, community partnerships, and verifiable impact reporting — starting small and building the systems to support that growth from day one.
